Cystoscopy Blues
Having a cystoscppy under general anesthesia in 2 weeks. Its not that bad but they keep calling it a surgery.

For the last 3 years, whenever I’ve had something stressful or uncertainty pop up, I begin to have dreams about being lost in a hospital, running from the doctors, and/or awake on the operating table while maniacal doctors are ripping me open.

You know what’s disappointing? When you have to cancel a weekend out with friends because you come down with a cold that zaps all your energy, and they ignore your extravagantly apologetic texts and never even bother to ask how you’re doing. God I just LOVE people.

so tired of doctors and tests…
must keep trying to stay positive. it is going to be okay. we’re doing these tests so we can figure out what keeps going wrong. because i CAN be helped once i’m diagnosed.
i just have to keep remembering that.
it’s going to be okay and this will not be for forever.
also, doctors are not evil.
it helps that mine is South African.
